Timber production
The mill annually consumes about 1.5 million cubic meters of softwood. About 65% of the total amount of timber is delivered by road, 30% - by water transport along the Kama River during the navigation period, the rest of the timber is delivered by rail. According to the FMW project (Austria), a section for processing long timber (logs) with a capacity of 600 thousand cubic meters per summer navigation was equipped at the timber production facility.
All wood supplied to JSC "Solikamskbumprom" is processed in a wood-preparatory shop (WPC) equipped with FMW equipment (Austria). The debarked balance is sent to the production of pulp pulp, and the chips are sent through a system of conveyors to the production of pulp and thermomechanical pulp.
