Council of veterans

One of the most important factors in the successful development of the company is conducting of social responsibility policy. JSC “Solikamskbumprom” pays great attention to working with mill’s veterans. The company's activities in this direction are aimed at preservation and strengthening of the sense of belonging to the enterprise.

Since organizing of the Veterans Council in 1986, years have passed, people have changed, but the company’s traditions are not forgotten (e.g. meeting near the monument to soldiers-papermakers, died during the Great Patriotic War, or the celebration of the Day for the Elderly). Our veterans always feel support and concern from the enterprise and its leader, V.I. Baranov. During a year JSC "Solikamskbumprom" provides financial assistance to veterans, makes payments to the holidays and anniversaries. To improve health of veterans, rest and treatment in sanatoriums is organized.

Veterans Council is an important link between the enterprise administration and veterans. More than 10 years Chairman of JSC “Solikamskbumprom” Veterans Council is Vladimir Stepanovich Michkov, person with an active lifestyle. At present time council includes about 1 500 veterans and pensioners. Today, the veterans’ organization of JSC "Solikamskbumprom" is one of the best in the city.

Connection with veterans is realized through district agents, with any questions veterans primarily appeal to them. Also veterans, with problems and questions, can go to the meetings, which are monthly organized in the Palace of Culture "Bumazhnik". Specialists of territorial administration of the Ministry of social development and the city administration are invited at such meetings. Veterans Council works closely with other public organizations and institutions of the city: the Pension Fund, the organization of persons with disabilities.

Enterprise veterans have socially active life. JSC "Solikamskbumprom" museum of history regularly organizes meetings of veterans with young people of the city: pupils, students; there veterans tell about the history of the company and their professions. Veterans Council is engaged in patriotic education of young people, regularly veterans hold themed homerooms and activities aimed at developing of the students' feelings of love for the motherland. In the PC “Bumazhnik” there is the choir of veterans “Leisya song!", it is created the group of remedial gymnastics “Nqadezhda" for health improvement.
