Personnel development

Personnel training and development is a key direction in JSC "Solikamskbumprom" personnel policy. It provides developing of workforce and helps to increase the effectiveness of production processes.

Training in JSC “Solikamskbumprom” is based on the principle of continuity. This approach involves the improvement of professional knowledge, abilities and skills throughout the all work activity of the employee.

After employment in the Company, all employees undergo a process of adaptation (mentoring) during which the employee (under the supervision of an experienced mentor) meets with the corporate values of the company, with work place and functions, develops the skills of safe performance of work.

Personnel training is carried out in the structural divisions of the Company (corporate training) and in training centers.

Under corporate training, mill’s specialists introduce workers to technology of manufacturing processes and repair work, analyze the problem, explain the procedure in standard and non-standard situations, instruct to work with the new equipment. Every year more than 700 mill’s workers take corporate training.

Senior managers and specialists of the company is an important strategic resource, from which depends on largely the success of all production activities.

To improve the skills of these employees, the Company uses the following types of training: on-the-job training and day release professional development. Specialists of the company improve their skills and are trained in educational centers in Russia and abroad.

Because of the phased implementation of the personnel management policy, the company has become a scientific and technical base for undertaking of internships for students and pupils, who will later join the ranks of Solikamsk papermakers. Personnel of the enterprise is filled largely thanks to the close cooperation of JSC “Solikamskbumprom” with educational institutions of higher and secondary professional education.
